Sounds like that fire was just before we moved out here. We had our nerves wracked by Cedar fire in 2003 and wracked even more by the Witch fire in 2007 though. Good to know that they keep up on training of local government officials for such emergencies!

I remember that fire, my sister had to evacuate…in her Camaro…and take their elderly(and we were talking old!) golden retriever and their over 200 pound pot bellied pig. Both of them did not want to leave home. She said getting them into her Camaro was horrible! Now, she has her big arse SUV and just one mini chihuahua…she should be fine next time! The class sounds very interesting, let us know what you learn and what it is all about!
