Hey, why don’t we work on getting friendly(close) again? We will be moving up the end of the next school year and it would be nice to see you. My kids would love to meet my crazy partner from my crazy time in high school! (No, I didn’t tell them everything!). Email and lets get restarted!

I think that talking to people is really important, even when the conversation is about trivial things. The conversation about cars made you think about which things are important to you, so it was worthwhile.

The Jag-driving woman woman sounds exhausting to be with; I’m so glad you met up with the like-minded neighbor for walks!

I wish I had someone like you in my neighborhood for a walking partner. We have runners, and Power Walkers (capital letters required), who stride down the street at about 6 mph while hefting hand weights. Which is great for them, but not so much for me and my propensity for stopping along the way to look at shiny things.

I think it is great you are making friends! It is my friends that I lean on more than anything and that get me through life, 2nd to family, which, sometimes, the friends help out through my grief with THEM! LOL
