say hello!

Ah! the therapy.  Well it sucked, and I ended up with a splitting headache from crying.  Though it seems as if maybe he might have “got it”.  Got what?  I am not sure but something began to click because he was unusually kind to me this weekend.  Especially yesterday when I went to see my grandma who is in a hospice.  It just breaks my heart every time I go, and I end up just coming home and drinking and crying.

We actually went out Friday and bought a couch, chair and ottoman for the living room.  I have wanted to do that for a couple of years!  Click here and you can see it!  It’s in black, not red. Yes we have a very modern home, so it won’t look funny.  It was built in 1960 and is reminiscent of othe “case study” homes. Lots of glass, very open.  I will have to take some pics and put them up.

I made grandma fideo soup, her favorite and fed her that and Ice cream. That is how I spent my Easter Sunday.

say hello!

I am sitting here in my office eating the last of the butter pecan ice cream left over from my birthday in January.  I really was hungry for something sweet, and a candy bar from the machine sounded awful.  I love ice cream.

Tonight Andy and I are going to the shrink again.  I am having a hard time with all of this, I want to save my marriage and work out our issues, but sitting there for an hour with him is very painful.  In the past it has always turned into an “Ann Bashing” sessions.  What I did wrong, and why.  How I should have acted, I end up feeling bad and apologizing for being who I am.

I am a very emotional person, and Andy just can’t handle it.  When I get mad and say things, he will hold a grudge for ever.  I used to get angry a lot. Especially at the girls, they were such bitches!  About 3 years ago I started to take paxil.  It tempered my mood swings some, but they really got better about a year ago when Natalie went to live with Uncle John.  Then the sanity began to return.  I have had a few “explosions” but they are few and far between.  The problem is Andy is still holding a grudge form 5 years ago!

say hello!

Well I have missed a few days… during that time Natalie decided she wanted OUT of the hospital and basically threw a tantrum and told the doctor she would sign herself out AMA if he didn’t discharge her. So he discharged her. I am mad and don’t want to think about anything.

That was last weekend.  This past weekend we went to the outlaws on Sunday. Had to, Andy’s brother Marty was here for the weekend from Pittsburg .  It was boring as usual.  I wanted to take Sprocket as a distraction, but both Andy and Marty said they did not think it would be a good idea, so I didn’t push it.  Then it started raining once we got there, which sucked.  Usually we go for a walk.  They live on the beach, but not in the pouring rain!

It poured all day yesterday. I love the rain.  I wish we would get some more, no it’s sunny today. Oh, well.

Walter is still here.  He left for about two days, then came back and has not left since.  I feed him in the morning and when I get home at night.  He starts to coo now when I go out on the patio.  I love it.

I bought the American Idol game for the “Shindig” which I probably won’t be going to, but all those girls can play and think of me!  Party on!

In case you guys didn’t know by now I have pet rats.  At one time I had a total of 5, now I just have jack and DunDun.  Unfortunately these little critters have a fairly short life expectancy, 2 years.  During the time these little guys have owned me I have met a few other rat lovers, and been to a RATFEST.  A party celebrating them, with the normal party stuff, food prizes, raffles, etc.  I offered to Host the next Ratfest, and have my friend the vet coming to do a presentation on rat health etc. So when I received this e-mail from some guy named David I was a little unsure until I called him and looked at the site:

Ann:

Has anyone from my office been in touch with you regarding

events we might be able to film for our rat documentary for

the Willard DVD?

We understand it’s rat day either tomorrow or Saturday and

wanted to be able to catch as many rat related events on

camera as possible!
